BRS” refers to the USMLE Board Review Series by Lippincott Williams & Wilkins. There are “BRS” titles for all major disciplines. The authors vary. Generally excellent, condensed, USMLE outlines. Useful both during the course, and for review.

"NMS" refers to the USMLE National Medical Series by  . It is the same setup as BRS but it is written by a different author.

High Yield” refers to the eponymous USMLE review series by Lippincott Williams & Wilkins. Similar to “BRS,” and available for all disciplines, but much more condensed.Various authors.

Ridiculously Simple” is also a series, with titles for quite a few subjects. MedMaster Publishing. Very user friendly. Cartoons, jokes, mnemonics. Adjunct to texts, atlas. Surprising detail. ‘Lite’ in format, not content. Various authors. Some better than others.

Lange also publishes review books. Less overall use than the other review series. Personal preference.
